You can charge your Mercedes-Benz electric car, such as the Sports Tourer B 250 e, anywhere while you are out and about – provided that you have a mobile charging station, such as the NRGkick, and the right adapters. Depending on your model you can charge with up to 11 kW of charging power at any 32 A CEE industrial socket, just like using the charging station at home. The Mercedes-Benz plug-in-hybrid models, such as the S 500 e and the GLE 500 e 4MATIC, are able to charge with up to 3.7kW.

Special Features when Charging Mercedes-Benz Sports Tourer B 250 e (B-Class Electric Drive):
In 2014, Daimler launched its first compact car with fully electric drive in the form of the Sports Tourer B 250 e (formerly known as the B-Class Electric Drive). Depending on your driving style, the season and a maximum speed of up to 160 km/h, you will be able to drive for 200 km (based on the NEDC driving cycle). If you wish, you can increase the driving range to up to 230 km using the RANGE PLUS feature. You can charge the battery via a separately fused 2.3 kW domestic socket using a mode 2 charging cable. For safety reasons, however, you should avoid doing this in the long term, since charging your car from a domestic socket will place the maximum load on the socket for 9 hours. A charging station will not only allow you to charge your Sports Tourer B 250 e safely, but also more than four times as quickly as using a domestic socket.
