As an Official Partner of Daimler, We Will Show You How to Charge Your Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive Easily and Flexibly Using Your Own Wall Box at Home or a Public Charging Station.

Charging Your Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive at Home

Charge at Home with 11 kW and Reach Full Charge in 3 hours

The Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive can be charged with a charging power of up to 11 kW using the at-home wall box. With a battery capacity of 28 kWh, you will reach full electric charge in approximately 3 hours. Depending on how you drive, the time of year, and an electric top speed of up to 160 km/h, you can drive around 200 km using electric power. By adding the special RANGE PLUS equipment, the range can be increased by up to 30 km. Charging is performed using a type 2 plug and can be done via a mode 2 charging cable connected to an individually fused domestic socket with 2.3 kW. For safety reasons, you should avoid doing this in the long term. Your socket will be under full strain for up to 12.5 hours when charging from the domestic socket. Using the wall box, you can charge your Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive not only safely but also four times as fast as with a regular domestic socket.

What Do I Need a Wall Box for?

With a wall box for your Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric drive, you can charge your car not only quickly and efficiently (saving up to 9 hours of time with a 11 kW charging station) but also safely and intelligently. Read our blog entry on ‘Why do I actually need a charging station?’ to find out what risks are posed by charging from a domestic socket and what advantages charging your Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric drive via a wall box can have for you. We also compiled an overview of what you need to be aware of for the safe installation of a charging station.

Charging Your Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive When Out and About

Die Herausforderung besteht im Moment allerdings noch darin, dass das Laden ohne vorhergehende Anmeldung beim entsprechenden Ladesäulenanbieter nicht möglich ist. Öffentlich Laden muss daher gut geplant sein.

Flexible charging anywhere at any CEE industrial or domestic socket

With a mobile charging station and the matching adapters you can charge everywhere with a charging power of 2.3 kW at a domestic power socket, and up to a charging power of 22 kW at a 32 A CEE industrial socket. With a mobile charging station you are less dependent on public charging stations, which makes mobile charging stations the perfect companion on the road.

Public Charging Stations with Type 2 Socket or Type 2 Charging Cable

The Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive can be charged at all public charging stations with a mode 3 type 2 charging cable with a charging power of up to 11 kW (AC). At the moment, it is still a problem that most charging station providers won’t let you charge at their facilities without registering in advance. Charging in public must therefore be planned properly.
