Dr. Herbert Diess

Chairman of the Board of Directors

Dr. Herbert Diess was Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG from 2018 to 2022. Since 2023, he has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Infineon Technologies AG, and since early 2024, Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Mobility House.

After beginning his career in 1989 at Robert Bosch GmbH, he went on to hold senior positions at BMW AG (serving as a member of the Board of Management from 2007 to 2015) as well as within the Volkswagen Group. His expertise in electromobility and his activities in the solar industry come together in his commitment at The Mobility House to drive the energy transition and realize The Mobility House’s vision of zero emissions, zero cost.

Alexander Landia
Dr. Alexander Landia

Member of the Board of Directors

Alexander has a passion for energy and technology and has transitioned from fossil fuels to new energies. He joined the Board of The Mobility House in 2011 as an early investor. He is also a shareholder and director of Lambert Energy Advisory (UK). For more than a decade, he served as Chairman of the energy company SUEK (Russia) and the fertilizer producer EuroChem Group (Switzerland), helping both to rise into the top five international blue chips in their respective industries. Previously, he was a board member at Barloworld (South Africa) and co-founder of the C-level mentoring firm Bernotat & Cie (Germany). Before that, he was Global Gas Lead Partner at Accenture and Head of Oil & Gas Debt at Dresdner Kleinwort.

Marina Shestakova

Member of the Board of Directors

Marina Shestakova is Managing Director at Wermuth Asset Management GmbH (WAM), an asset management company focused on high risk-adjusted financial returns and positive environmental impact. WAM advises the Green Growth Funds, which invest in “exponential organizations” that profitably solve a major human challenge and can rapidly reach one billion people, with the goal of reducing 2% of global emissions.

Marina has nearly two decades of experience in asset management and has held various positions at WAM, including in listed investments, quantitative strategies, private equity, and risk management. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst®, and for ten years served as a board member and later Vice President of her national CFA Association, in which role she was also part of the international leadership of the CFA Institute.

She earned a Bachelor of Science with distinction in Computational Mathematics from Moscow State University and a Master’s degree in Economics from the New Economics School, initiated by George Soros’ Open Society Foundation. Having emigrated from Russia, she now lives and works with her family in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. Since 2023, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of The Mobility House.

Brandon Chia

Member of the Board of Directors

Brandon Chia Seng Boon is currently Managing Director (Asia-Pacific) at SP International within the SP Group, a leading energy provider in the Asia-Pacific region. The group owns and operates electricity and gas transmission and distribution businesses in Singapore and Australia, as well as district energy companies in Singapore and China.

Brandon has nearly two decades of experience in the energy industry, gained through various senior positions within the SP Group in Singapore and with SGSPAA and AusNet Services in Australia. He also worked at the Monetary Authority of Singapore in the area of infrastructure financing.

Since October 2020, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of The Mobility House, driven by a passion for innovation and opportunities to advance the energy transition towards a zero-emission world.

Carl-Peter Forster

Member of the Board of Directors

GM Europe, Opel, BMW, and Tata Motors/JLR: Carl-Peter Forster held numerous top positions in the automotive industry before joining The Mobility House. Today, he serves, among other roles, as a supervisory board member at the Chinese automotive group Geely and at Volvo Cars, and is involved in developing the new electric London Taxi. He is committed to a world in which electromobility plays a central role. Carl-Peter Forster has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2012.

Andreas Feicht

Member of the Board of Directors

Born in 1971 in Bogen, Bavaria, Andreas Feicht served from 2007 to 2019 as Chairman of the Management Board of WSW Energie & Wasser and as Chairman of the Executive Board of WSW Wuppertaler Stadtwerke. From February 2019 until the formation of the new federal government, Mr. Feicht was State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Since August 2022, he has been Chairman of the Management Board of RheinEnergie AG and Chief Executive Officer of Stadtwerke Köln GmbH.

Michael Mohnhaupt
Dr. Michael Mohnhaupt

Member of the Board of Directors

Michael Mohnhaupt was Managing Partner at Accenture with a focus on energy companies, market development, and strategy. In this role, he helped establish energy trading and risk management divisions for major European companies. In addition, the PhD computer scientist worked as a Senior Advisor for various international energy companies. Since 2015, Michael Mohnhaupt has been President of The Mobility House LLC, based in California. An e-mobility enthusiast and father of two, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of The Mobility House since 2010.

Franz Reiner

Member of the Board of Directors

Since June 1, 2019, Franz Reiner has been Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG. The company finances and leases every second vehicle delivered by Mercedes-Benz. Under his leadership, Mercedes-Benz Mobility has positioned itself for the future with its three core business areas: financial services, fleet management, and digital mobility solutions, including charging.

As CEO of Mercedes-Benz Mobility, Reiner is guiding the company into a future of flexible and sustainable mobility concepts as well as innovative and digital financing solutions of tomorrow.

Benjamin Nennig

Member of the Board of Directors

Benjamin Nennig is General Manager of Energy Systems at Renault Group. With 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, he is passionate about the electrification of the vehicle sector and its transformation towards energy-based services.

After several positions in the purchasing department, where he was responsible for innovative components in electronics and batteries, he took over as head of the Energy Business Unit at Software République.

Since December 2024, Benjamin has been a member of the Board of Directors.

Thomas Raffeiner
Thomas Raffeiner

Delegate of the Board of Directors

As the owner of a strategy consultancy specialized in energy, Thomas Raffeiner founded The Mobility House in 2009, making it one of the first service companies for electromobility in Europe. Inspired by technological possibilities, he believes in the end of the oil age and the challenges and opportunities that come with it.

For this pioneer in electromobility, the journey to the summit is what counts: whether on foot, by bike, by paraglider – and above all, entrepreneurially with his team. A father of three and Austrian citizen, he also supports a children’s village in Ladakh in the Himalayas.

Marc O'Connor

Member of the Board of Directors

Marc O’Connor, based in Ireland, is General Manager at Mitsui & Co., Europe PLC. He brings extensive experience from previous positions at Rail Partners, the Rail Delivery Group, and M&T Aviation Ltd.

Marc holds a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance. With a broad skill set spanning business strategy, management, project planning, project management, change management, and more, he contributes his expertise to The Mobility House.

Mathieu Vallot

Member of the Board of Directors

Mathieu Vallot is an experienced finance professional with extensive expertise in investment and structured finance within the energy and commodities sectors. Since November 2011, he has been Principal Investment at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A., focusing on infrastructure, oil and gas, as well as mining and metals in the EMEA region.

Previously, from 2000 until November 2011, he was Head of Structured Finance at BNP Paribas, responsible for project financing in the oil and gas sector as well as structured finance in the MENA region.
