Special Features when Charging Your Audi A3 Sportback e-tron:

Audi also wants to get involved in the move towards electric cars and has added two new plug-in hybrids to its range. The A3 Sportback e-tron, designed for everyday use, has an electric driving range of 50 km according to the NEDC driving cycle. This may vary depending on a number of parameters, such as your driving behaviour, the season and the use of the air conditioning system. The 8.8 kWh battery can be charged using a 3.7 kW wallbox and the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron takes just 2.5 hours to charge fully. If you do not yet have a wallbox, you can charge your Audi plug-in hybrid from a separately fused domestic socket at 2.3 kW using a mode 2 charging cable. For safety reasons, however, you should avoid doing this in the long term, since charging your car from a domestic socket will place the maximum load on the socket for approximately 4 hours. You can charge your Audi A3 Sportback e-tron safely from a wallbox.
