A Smart Charging App developed by iteratec and The Mobility House Energy for the electric vehicle energy solution eyond has impressed the jury of the renowned German Innovation Award in two categories: The expert panel of the German Design Council honored the solution in the categories Information Technologies | Functional Software and Transformative Solutions.
End-to-End Solution for Intelligent Charging
The solution (marketed under the eyond brand by The Mobility House Energy – or white-labeled for energy providers and automotive manufacturers) combines an intelligent electricity tariff with a smart app and turns electric vehicles into an active component of the energy transition. The solution automatically charges EVs when electricity is particularly affordable and green, while simultaneously stabilizing the power grid.
The innovative core: The eyond App orchestrates a highly complex ecosystem, connecting energy markets, automotive systems and charging infrastructure – from real-time data from the electricity exchange to the control of hundreds of different vehicle and wallbox models. Behind the scenes, The Mobility House Energy's technology ensures that the charging flexibility of EVs is automatically aggregated and marketed in real time on energy markets. AI-powered algorithms optimize revenues, protect vehicle batteries and make the aggregated flexibility usable for the grid and markets – the foundation for Vehicle-to-Grid, where electric vehicles feed energy back into the grid as mobile energy storage units, actively supporting the expansion of renewable energies.

iteratec supported The Mobility House Energy over four years from concept to successful market launch, creating a scalable system architecture that is now deployed as both a proprietary brand and a white-label solution. Automotive manufacturers such as Renault and energy providers such as RheinEnergie AG, for example, also rely on the solution.
