Smart charging and energy solutions expert The Mobility House has gone live with a new partner shop. As the first online wholesaler to focus on electromobility, the tech firm is continuing to expand its innovative partner website, where it is offering its entire product range with custom conditions. The target group primarily consists of electricians, electrical contractors, municipal utilities and energy suppliers, who have an important role to play in implementing the charging infrastructure, since electromobility is becoming ever more prevalent.

A large selection and adequate advice

Registered users can now, using their partner account, access the new shop, which offers more than 1,000 products from over three dozen manufacturers. A filter option makes searching for suitable products easy, and the fact that delivery times are shown translates into more reliable planning for implementing charging infrastructure projects. At the same time, the new partner shop allows for far faster order processing, since orders are automatically forwarded to the company’s very own dispatch warehouse. ChargePilot®, the Charging and Energy Management system, will be integrated into the shop soon too. Customers will then be able to conveniently configure and order it. If required, The Mobility House will continue to offer its partners personal advice on product selection as usual, either over the phone or by email.

"The huge selection within The Mobility House’s shop is very convenient for us. The sheer variety of products available on the market means we can’t stock everything ourselves; we wouldn’t have the space or the money to do that. But this solution means we can respond quickly and easily to individual customer requests and also benefit from the comprehensive consulting service."

Christian Schöfbeck, Managing Director,

Technik-AS - CS GmbH & Co. KG

A newly created section within the customer account also provides an overview of the orders placed to date, as well as the function that allows users to create shopping lists – a kind of wish list – for products. Orders can also be delivered directly to a third party or to construction sites by means of drop-shipping. Retailers in particular benefit from this, as the goods are delivered directly to the desired end customer without any detours.

Partnership – a win-win situation

But The Mobility House is far more than just the trusted wholesaler for electricians and electrical contractors. In the more than twelve years since it was established, and having now installed more than 85,000 charging solutions, the charging specialist has acquired expertise that electrical engineers benefit from, too. Depending on the project, an in-depth partnership can take different forms. In the case of proprietary installations, partner companies exclusively purchase the hardware and software from The Mobility House, which supports them as an experienced implementation partner. In the case of larger tenders where the customer commissions The Mobility House as general contractor, the active partners are involved as reliable on-site implementation experts.

"It’s also hugely advantageous for us that The Mobility House has built up a good reputation as a competent full-service provider in recent years. This standing extends to us too. With The Mobility House as our partner, some doors that might otherwise be hard for us to open are far easier to open, especially for larger projects. We also appreciate the excellent and immediate support, where someone always has an answer ready even for tough technical questions."

The partnership between electrical companies and The Mobility House is a win-win situation for everyone involved. After all, it’s on the end customers’ premises that the installation companies can best implement professional solutions. The Mobility House, in turn, brings to the table its profound electromobility expertise and, with ChargePilot®, the necessary software skills that enable significant cost savings on the mains connection side.

"We value the cooperative relationship with our partners very much because we depend on their experience and expertise. In addition to cars, charging stations and smart software, electromobility also includes standardized and future-proof installation, not to mention regular testing and maintenance of the charging infrastructure. It’s only when we work together with the right specialists on site that can we achieve our common goal: satisfied customers."

Matthias Suttnerr, Head of Key Account Management Wholesale ,

The Mobility House

The company already has more than 1,000 electrical contractors in its growing network at present, and has set itself the goal of continuously expanding and deepening its cooperative relationships.
