The Mobility House is an approved aggregator for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Pilot Program, in which PG&E customers can earn up to $4,500 in incentives towards bidirectional chargers.
If you own or are interested in purchasing a bidirectional charging
station like a dcbel Ara Home Energy Station or a Wallbox Quasar 2, The
Mobility House can support the required steps to unlock additional incentives
with the PG&E V2X Pilot.
To be eligible for the PG&E V2X Pilot rebate, you will need to meet all the requirements listed in the PG&E V2X Pilot Checklist. Requirements include proof of vehicle lease or ownership, proof of purchase and installation of your bidirectional charging station, and enrollment in the Emergency Load Reduction Program (ELRP) through The Mobility House to earn more incentives. The Mobility House will automate your charging and discharging to provide you with the lowest electricity cost for your EV while prioritizing your driving needs first by making sure your vehicle is always charged for the next trip. We do this by responding to signals from PG&E, which include a dynamic electricity rate as part of the Hourly Flex Price* (HFP) and demand response events called the Emergency Load Reduction Program* (ELRP). Participating in the ELRP is one of the requirements of the PG&E V2X Pilot.
*Hourly Flex Pricing is only available to customers without solar who go through interconnection. To participate in these programs, you may need to un-enroll from other demand response programs that you may have - with a thermostat, for example.
