Special Features when Charging Your BMW 330e:

The 330e is the first BMW mid-range car to feature plug-in technology. The battery capacity of this model is 7.6 kWh. After charging it for 2.5 hours via a 3.7 kW wallbox, you can then enjoy the full electric driving range of 40 km. The BMW 330e has a type 2 plug. You can charge your BMW 330e via the wallbox or a domestic socket using the matching charging cable. However, for safety reasons, we would advise against charging it regularly via a domestic socket, since charging your car from a domestic socket will place the maximum load on the socket for approximately 3.5 hours. On the other hand, you can charge it more safely using a 3.7 kW wallbox.
