Mercuria invests in aggregation technology for electric vehicles

Mercuria, a leading global energy and commodities trading company, invests in electric vehicle aggregation technology of The Mobility House.
The system developed by The Mobility House enables the aggregation of electric vehicles and integration into the energy flexibility markets and will thus significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
With its profound knowledge of international trading technology, Mercuria becomes another investor, after EIB and SP Group, acknowledging the approach of The Mobility House and the relevance of its technology for a faster and efficient integration of renewable energies.

Today Mercuria, one of the world’s largest integrated independent energy and commodities trading companies, announced its strategic investment in The Mobility House AG, a leading technology company which dedicates itself to integrate electric vehicles intelligently into the energy system. The global energy trader has recently stated that it will continue to execute on its corporate strategy of increased investment in the energy transition. Fifty percent of its new investments over the next five years are to be in this sector. With this financing agreement, they have gone one step further in this direction and recognized the importance of the technology developed by The Mobility House for an emission-free future.

Mobilize selects The Mobility House for their Vehicle-To-Grid service

Mobilize, a Renault Group brand, and The Mobility House will provide the first commercial Vehicle-To-Grid (V2G) offering starting 2024, initially in France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Renault customers will – through bidirectional charging and discharging – take part in the energy transition and earn money with their electric car when they are not using it for driving.
The Mobility House's technology will be used to market the electricity stored in the batteries on the energy markets, maximizing the value of mobile storage devices in the energy system and unlocking their full potential.
