The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and The Mobility House are now joining forces. The technology company and new VDA member will provide input for an efficient grid and energy market integration. After all, it’s becoming increasingly clear that, if the mobility sector is to be successfully revolutionized, the ecosystem must grow at an appropriately rapid rate too.

Since electromobility developments are being scaled up, huge electricity storage capacities are being created in the form of electric vehicle batteries that stabilize the power grid and optimize the use of renewable energies. Charging processes can also be automatically postponed to times when an above-average amount of CO2-free electricity generated from renewable energy producers is available in the grids. Smart charging also takes into account the existing grid limitations at domestic connections and in the distribution grid. Electromobility has thus become an indispensable resource, helps to further optimize CO2 in the energy system and enables totally CO2-free mobility.
