What you do
- As Head of Battery Performance, you hold full responsibility for the operational period of our rapidly growing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolio (> 2 GWh in planning). Your scope covers the three core areas: Technical Support, Technical Asset Management, and Economic Asset Management including Stakeholder Managment.
- Your primary objective is to maximize available MWs and Margin under Management across all assets.
- In this role, you continuously seek scalable optimization opportunities on technical, financial, and process levels.
- You lead a motivated and expanding team of experts across the three functional areas, fostering ownership, collaboration, and excellence.
- Additionally, you ensure a scalable, efficient, and cost-optimized 24/7 support setup, enabling reliable operations for our customers and partners.
Who you are
- Proven leadership experience in BESS, energy industry, and/or asset operations
- At least 3 years of experience in expert roles with personnel responsibility
- Strong track record in process and cost optimization
- A growth mindset: you view challenges as opportunities and address them quickly and solution-oriented
- A true team player, acting as a bridge between management, your peers (e.g., Head of Product & Projects), and your teams
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English (French is a plus)
