Imagine that the battery in your electric car is given a second life after its use in the vehicle...

...and thus helps the energy transition to make a breakthrough.
If the battery is no longer used in the vehicle, it does not have to be disposed of immediately. Rather, it can start a second life in a stationary storage together with other vehicle batteries. High-performance stationary storage systems can decrease the volatility of renewable energies, promote their integration and stabilize the power grid. The Mobility House's storage units react to grid fluctuations within seconds and stabilize the grid by selectively charging and discharging the batteries.

With our stationary storage systems, we are currently gathering experience regarding the marketing of vehicle batteries on the energy markets in Germany, France and the Netherlands. We are using the know-how we have gained to increase the efficiency of marketing on the one hand and to set the course for Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology on the other. Through our stationary storage solutions from e-car batteries, we are laying the foundation for the participation of electric vehicles in the energy market. In the future, bidirectional (V2G-capable) e-vehicles will also be able to participate in the electricity market by feeding in and feeding out, as well as storing renewable energies, and cushion the volatility of renewable energies.

The Second-Life usage prolongs the life of vehicle batteries and at the same time reduces their CO2 backpack. Even from new and previously unused vehicle batteries, a so-called living spare parts store can be created until the batteries eventually begin their use in the vehicle.

This enables us to meet the growing demand for storage for renewable energies, to ensure that no wind turbine is switched off due to a lack of storage facilities.

Because to realize our vision of an emission-free future, we need these renewable energies.
With our specially developed technology, we integrate vehicle batteries into the power grid. By marketing the energy from the storage units on the intraday market, we generate revenue and thus make electromobility cheaper and at the same time more sustainable. Intelligent charging management and the aggregation of decentralized units are our key competencies.
